Refreshing Riverside: Exhibit Planning and Design
With a team of three other classmates, I developed an exhibition that highlighted the inequity present within the Riverside Neighborhood of Indianapolis. Our task was to create an exhibition related to the theme of environmental justice in conjunction with the Humanities Action Lab initiative titled "Climates of Inequality." We met with members of the community, conducted research about the neighborhood and its history, and presented our proposed exhibit to our community partners at the Kheprw Institute. The slideshow to the left is my group's final presentation.
Within the project, I completed all of the design work, including designing the exhibit materials such as selecting colors, fonts, and formats, selecting images and taking photographs, creating our slide presentations, and designing and editing all of the documents we submitted. For this project, I used the Adobe Creative Cloud as well as Google programs to create the imagery and design the exhibit structure.
